Day 295: Crash Landed.

Day 295

Dear Finrod,

I've been to every world by now or so it seems. All the time I'm expecting the next deadly sin to appear but to no avail. I've arrived in a space station type of place with a bandicoot to my right surrounded by 5 portals. Suddenly a hologram of Dr. Neo Cortex' head appeared or so my PDA told me his name anyway. He addressed the bandicoot as "Crash". My PDA told me that I had to help Crash Bandicoot to gather the five remaining crystals. Both of us went into two different portals to get the crystals while surviving the dangers that lurk within.  After hours of killing enemies and getting through each portal both Crash and I gathered nearly all of the crystals. We only had one left.

We went into the last portal with the name "Spaced Out" over the entrance. Once there we went forward and turned right. We came to platforms that moved left and right. Crash took the platforms while I simply flew across. We raced across pits and defeated any enemy that stood in our way. It was hectic to get to the bonus round but we managed to complete it in record time. We then killed many more enemies, jumped across pits, dodged nitro boxes and detonated boxes of TNT. We managed to get the crystal and made our way back to the portal room.

When we returned with the last crystal, the hologram of Dr. Neo Cortex appeared laughing at Crash's stupidity in getting all 25 crystals for him. Then Crash's little sister appeared and warned Crash about the "Cortex Vortex". Both Crash and I walked to the center of the portal room and it brought us to the final confrontation with Dr. Neo Cortex. When we arrived Crash had his jetpack on him while I had my Dragon Templar's power armor on. Dr. Neo Cortex was on a hover board and wielded a laser gun. We began to chase him towards the Cortex Vortex before he got there and doomed us all.

Both Crash and I caught up with Dr. Cortex and attacked him only to send him forward a few meters. We began chasing him passed mines and asteroids before we were upon him again. We attacked a second time and the same thing happened. My PDA told me that we've almost won. That was all I needed to know as I signalled to Crash to take him out. We caught up with Dr. Cortex after a few minutes and once more we attacked him. Dr. Cortex was defeated at last but I felt that Crash won't see the last of him. We went back to N. Sanity Island for a feast before I left to go on my next adventure. I said my farewells and left via my own portal.

I've got to go. My right arm is acting up again.
