Day 288: A Pirate's Life

Day 288

Dear Finrod,

My previous adventure kind of sent shivers down my spine due to that big spider thing but I'm glad it's over now. I'll be walking for awhile since my wings are too damn tired from flying too much. The portal opened up at ground level and my PDA told me that I was on a planet called Merdegraw in the Drogol sector. I was glad to be on solid ground again so I relaxed against a rock to see if the hero or heroes arrive. It didn't take too long when a person arrived. I decided to introduce myself to him.

I walked towards him and made peace in case he attacked me. He told me that his name was Ratchet. He was looking for something called "The Fulcrum Star" which he told me that the pirate ghost, Captain Slag has in his possession. We eventually managed to track down Captain Slag's ship but we were challenge by the pirate captain himself. We managed to run and dodge his attacks while shooting at him but he barely missed my wings by a mere inch. Eventually we defeated him but he made his escape. Ghostly pirates appeared and began to attack us. We used our guns and melee weapons to take them out.

After we took care of them we went on the nearby catapult which shot us to the next ship. Captain Slag was waiting for our arrival and wasted no time in beginning his ferocious sword attacks. He used green swords to make waves that came straight at us. We managed to dodge them easy enough. That is until he summoned ghostly pirates to aid him in battle. I took care of them while Ratchet took care of Captain Slag. When I defeated the last ghostly pirate a green skull appeared. I whistled to Ratchet who use his wrench to pick up the skull and threw it at Captain Slag. Captain Slag reverted to his original form and stabbed the ship, sending, red rings outwards towards us.

We dodged but one caught my tail tip but it only made me want to defeat him faster. We hacked and slashed away at him until he retreated again. We walked across the plank to the nearby transport ship but there was a pirate onboard. We defeated him easily and restocked our ammo supplies before we hacked through more pirates. We eventually met up with Slag again for the third encounter and used the same tactics all over again. We defeated him after an hour and he fled again for the last time… I hope. More pirates appeared and we took them out in a few minutes. Then we entered a room where a pirate was behind a green force field. Luckily there was a green skull nearby which Ratchet tossed at it.

We defeated him in two minutes flat and went onto defeat even more pirates before Ratchet had to swingshot across the next three ships while I merely flew to them. We defeated more pirates before Ratchet made a final swingshot which brought us to the final battle. Slag attacked us and summoned ghost pirates which we handled easily. They left green skulls which we threw at Slag. After what seemed like hours Captain Slag was defeated. I said my farewells to Ratchet and Talwyn when she got to where we were and left.
